A Figurative Heart Awakening

A press of time, a love of one

A bitter want, not to be none

In someones life to mean something different

In a state of blind love, the bliss lies in ignorance

But in true love, does it lie in the heart

The figurative nonexistant part

The one we use to say how we love

Even if the heart is just a vessel to pump blood

But even believing in science, a heart real

I still cannot deny the way I feel

If the "heart" of love exists, then it lives within me

A feeling you can't feel unless you've been me

Everyones perception of love differs to their emotion

It's not all as simple as material things, a placebo love posion

Thinking of what it means, love comes with time

Time spent with someone of intrest, if even shallow view of a dime

It's much easier when you aren't ashamed of who you are

When you look up in the sky and wish upon a star

A prayer to become all that she needs, no matter the cost

Losing insecurities, knowing she loves me for who I am, nothing becomes lost

Not time, not effort, not affection, or health

So with time with the one you love comes emotional wealth

To chase despite the scolds from those who are close

Theres nothing wrong with falling in love, a healthy feeling dose

Love comes with people, to offer what she has

But we always fall in love with those we feel we cannot have

I broke the system, I got her regardless

No matter what comes, the sweetness to the tartness

That life and love has to offer, it will be fought through

Because no matter where, or what stops me, I will always fight to have you

I live, I look, I read, I smile, I laugh. It's funny how the simplicity of all of that can be confusing, but that's people for you.
