Figuring Out
I figured that love
And I would never
Connect. But then
I saw you and met you,
And found satisfaction.
I figured that friendships
Were not able to last
Forever. But then
I saw you and met you,
And found me a magnet.
It was then I reconsidered
Everything I said.
It was then I doubted
Everything I figured.
