The Final
Furrowed brows and scrunched faces
Madly scribbling notes
The clock strikes mid-night - then one!
Oh! That unforgiving time keeper
That only reminds of the hours of sweet
Slumber that slowly drift away.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Today is the day, destiny is met
In the form of paper
Whether passing or failing lies
With that piece of paper there.
Reading slowly, thinking long
Writing answers on and on
The dreaded time keeper keeps ticking on
At last it is finished, the journey is complete.
