Final Fantasy

Blood and sorrow falls as do I for as long as I can remember

Hidden, heavy kept secrets as I am invisible forever

I've built a wall around my troubled heart

Scared to reveal the truth I only remain in the dark

For a moment, someone finds what is real and we grow close

Sudden changes lead to love - something I desire most

Accepted and free from capture, I'm no longer alone

His heart stops, as I gasp for air, I imagine him on a throne

Sitting alone I listen to what is left inside

Broken apart by the never ending tears I cry

Looking down I see the life meant for me

I am a misfit wishing to escape reality

I rise to see what I will only leave behind

But I remember the bruises that damaged my mind

The scars placed upon me are too deep to fade

The constant force and screams I've heard day to day

I leave nothing but my pain and say my final prayer

Standing now facing the last noises I will ever hear

It's all come to this, where no one will ever see

With one last step, I fall, and can finally be

At last, I'm at peace - as the silence, the air carries me

I see the brightest light which calms my soul as I breathe
