The Final Hit
The Final Hit
Sitting down in our dinning room,
mom was just passing by as I typed my heart out.
Typing and typing, I couldn't describe this feeling
Sadness, anger, stress, every negative feeling
Mom asked what was wrong, and I just burst out crying
She asked why, I didn't know at that moment
Later that night, I knew why...
The evening before, she mentioned my dad about leaving for university
And then I knew
I cried because I realized my time to leave was close
A couple more months and I would leave
That was the final hit that I wasn't a child anymore...
