The Final Journey

I've been counting down the days The day these past four years finally pays I stand in my line and wait for my name About to live my one minute of fame The line gets shorter, my name is coming soon I see the caps and gowns, gold and maroon They call my name and my heart skips a beat My journey through school is almost complete I sit back down and watch the rest Showing the boldest, the brightest, the best Everyone claps as our caps fly up high This is the beginning of the rest of my life
