Final melody

It warms my heart seeing you smile,

For it's been a while,

Since I last saw you.

The way your beautiful dark brown eyes glisten;

None wouldever know what inside is fragile;

For you would never show.

But I'm reminded of the nights, when the storms had just passed,

Your voice was what kept me awake,

Saying, "you never know, tonight could be our last."

And so it did, my dear lover,

A night did it last, what was meant to be for ever.

And here I am, living my days just the same;

With the demons in my heart untame.

The stars in the sky was all that we trusted,

So tell me now, what keeps you awake at night, my beloved?
