Final Walk
The forest engulfs me in a canopy of green.
Shelter.
There is a peace in the stillness that surrounds me.
The branches reach towards me as if they are the hands of God.
I am on holy ground.
What will I find on the other side?
Light, I am sure.
I feel the soil between my toes as I am drawn forward towards the end of this Earthly tunnel.
Nothing can break my gaze.
I am here.
