Final Weeks of High School

Today I sit in front

Of a computer that knows

I have to get an "A" to pass my final course

High School is all about...papers, grades and tests

In the end the college will only look at the summary of it

They will not see the many hours that I spent upon the stage

They will not here my heart racing as I wait to take my place

They will not know the fear of wondering if

My stich will remain in place

Only I know what it took

To finish this race
