Find Me
I don’t know what to do.
My world’s falling apart and I feel so blue.
Every planned day never seems to work.
I drown in myself, just to shield the hurt.
This noose called life is asphyxiating.
I spend my days lost and contemplating.
The shadows on the walls are invigorating.
The darkness consumes me.
Where is the light?
Keep it hidden from me.
The light is my enemy.
It exposes who I truly am.
A weak, pathetic girl who eats her feelings, bathe’s in regret and sleeps on broken dreams.
A girl with feelings about herself too low to be called esteem.
She is lost, waiting, hoping, begging to be found.
