Find Me

When the World doesn't understand your troubles
Establish your life on a new foundation
One with more obvious dimensions
And cries that cannot be ignored
You wait for understanding
And act on your ambitions
In the dark they cannot find you
You see them all searching
For the one who ran away from acceptance
Who turned away the option of happiness
The one who decided that she wanted more
And that there must be more than this
She lives a life understood by no one
She is a ghost of a person
A girl constantly reminiscing
Chasing dreams of undeniable horror
Communication has been disconnected
She will isolate, she will remove herself
From companionship to avoid being hurt again
Constantly wishing her questions could
be answered with worthy explanations
She'll watch the cars pass, and the sun set
As she waits for the idea of meaning to join her
Lost in the abyss, she will continue to roam
Away from reality, she will travel deep into
confinement; where imperfection hides.
