Find Myself
Find Myself
Tonight I faced my daemons
I am not afraid
They’ve road me ‘til my ends wit
I’m done
Anger is no longer my weapon
Hatred is no longer my shield
I am my own force field
A baby seeing its first light
This new life is not frightening
It is intriguing
I am not afraid
The knife has once cut me deep
The wound slowly heeling
I am nearly myself
Gone is the incessant ache
Once bound to a hollow hell
Black, no longer my aura
I’m set free
Mark these words
They are true
I am real
That of a true person
True heart
And true humanity
I am almost healed
A soul set free
A heart once endangered
I am finally free
Nightmares now sweet dreams
Fears now incompetent foes
Freedom now obtained
I now have a life worth living
I am finally who I want to be
I have finally found myself
You shell of a former self
But me through and through
