To Find A Spy

To find a spy, mere truths and lies

Will never make you notice

The subtleties, or well-conceived

Expressions that are bogus

From time to time, you’re sure to find

No matter, who you’re checking

You didn’t know this one at all

For years, you’ve just been guessing

A friend’s a friend, through thick and thin

At least that is the rumor

Unless your needs, they far exceed

The lightness and the humor

What  sacrifice, to be precise

Is really worth the pleasure

Of being friends, cause in the end

It’s more or less the treasures

That they can get, so check the list

You need to be more cautious

When honesty’s reward is greed

It’s best to cut your losses

To make this plain, let me explain

Precisely how it’s proven

That someone lies, I think your eyes

Will see their lips are moving
