Finding Faith

When I was younger

I felt very lost

I played with my toys

But didn't realize the cost

I knew I had a mission

For my curiosity to explore

I searched everywhere

But never opened the right door

Until I was older

I finally realized

I needed to appreciate

What was right in front of my eyes

Materials could never satisfy my heart

I grew closer to the angels and farther from the dark

A new beginning, you could call it my start

I read the holy scripture some time every day

That our courageous messenger brought to us in May

I pray to be thankful in every single way

Allah, please save me from going astray
