Finding Me

They all said you were no good

Just straight hood and misunderstood

But I ignored them all and took the chance

Played happy family and prayed that our love would last

But now its too late and I've had enough of

The lies, the cheating, and the miscommunication

Even the faith of God couldn't defuse the situation

Yet I'm still conflicted about what to do

Whether if I should keep or get over you

But as days go by, I contemplate in my mind

About the last 27 years of my time

But deep down I always knew

By getting rid of you, I've become brand new
