Finding Me

I know I’m guarded, but I feel the confusion

It’s like I’m battling myself and In this war I am losing

Now my family is broke, my heart has taken a bruising

I try to mend it back together, but I’m only abusing

Now I’m sitting here and thinking about what’s all on my plate

Do I fight to fill me up or let it all go to waste?

But this is crazy because my happiness is what is at stake

My life is stuck inside a nightmare I can never awake

Still I can try, to get by, and put faith where I stand

I see me winning because losing isn’t part of my plan

As long as Love is above all my wants and demands

Right on top of everything I see is where I will land...
