Finding Pieces Of A Fragmented Being

I am moving inside of feelings

Inside of sounds

Inside of the color blue

I cannot shake away the darkness of my being

I must embrace every sliver

Every single hue

I can reach into a bottomless pit and create new meaning

But I still cannot shake this neuropathic feeling

I cannot make it move

Ones shadow is constantly holding its beings feet

It caresses each sole reminding us of the line that we are walking, abiding,

always pretending to be asleep

How is it that we are Life and Death constantly colliding

existing somehow at the exact same speed?

When you look over the edge of this existence,

what do you see?

I choose to wake up inside of these extremely vivid dreams,

I do not fear their reap

You have to dive inside of yourself to find that it is only your mind that keeps you from your peaks

Self limitations in constant cultivation

We have blinded ourselves, don’t you see?

You have to die a million times

You have to puncture your own surface

You have to strive to be alive

Don’t you want to have purpose?

It is you who has to seek

I cannot keep wandering in a world filled with only skin just to find the emptiness that lies within

I must find the depth that I crave so deeply on my own, I must continue to look inside

to bring it out in other souls

Within seems so far away but In actuality it’s right here

I guess that goes to show how much depth I truly hold,

How many miles I’m going to have to walk

How many deaths I will have to die

to find my true essence

To find every fragment of my authentic soul
