Fine before


I was fine before, 

before the thought of darkness had crossed my mind 

that it had been gone for an extended amount of time 

Before the light had slowly faded never knowing that it was going 

I was fine before 

All that was good and gone to dust 

And light would never return to what it was 

I was fine before
