Finer Things in Life

The smell of green, freshly cut grass,

A firey, orange sunset bringing joy

Getting an A in that difficult class,

Being asked to the prom by that one boy

Listening to your favorite song

Alone, jamming along

Sleeping past nine,

Knowing that everything is fine

Giving candy on Hallows Eve,

Lights on the Christmas tree

Before Easter, making a basket weave,

On the Fourth of July, fireworks to kids, bring glee
