Fingers Crossed

You said you loved me

I remember you promising me you would stay

You said I was your forever

But I didn't see your fingers crossed

Im foolish for thinking about the times we laid together

You whispering things into my ear about a future

You said "one day, we will be married"

I wish nothing more then to have seen your fingers crossed

I wonder if it hurts you, to lie so much

Can you live with your self knowing you shattered a girls heart ?

I remembering you saying "I'm not like the others"

Only if I could've been smart enough to have seen your hand behind your back

Maybe then, I wouldn't be the one crying
