Finished

Once I thought I was the greatest thing

Back when I was a little girl-

And nobody dares to crush a child’s dreams

So for seven years, they agreed

Then I met other girls like me

Twice as talented than I had been

And so I decided, maybe I just shouldn’t try

Is there a point anymore? I won’t lie-

I’ve tried so many things, too many

But I still can’t choose my favorite

Not average, not awesome

Somewhere maddeningly in between

It’s so easy to become invisible

So that’s what I’ve done to myself

This is all I have left

And that’s the end…
