Fire
after he was done using me all up, the light in my heart burnt out.
all the warmth and fire in my chest was gone and all I was left with was cold and darkness.
I didn't know anything but the feeling of loneliness for so long.
but the day your lips pressed against mine, I felt a flicker.
a tiny flicker of light and warmth form just below my rib cage.
everyday I've spent with you since then, the fire grows stronger.
and the day you asked me to be yours, that warmth exploded and turned into a light so bright I just knew that even those around me could see it radiating from my chest.
