On Fire

On Fire

By T.S.Zakem

Lonely forever I did presume

The preconception was full of doom

The question of love I must inspect

What does it want what does it collect

Cupid did answer as I reflect

Although it wasn’t very direct

But through precarious events we finally met

An occasion, I will never forget

For you are the creation of my fate

My love, my life, my soulmate

The spell you cast did inspire

My love for you will never tire

You are the muse of my desire

Because you set my dreams on fire
