Fire

Fire. The beauty, the warmth. The comfort.

Rising and falling in such graceful spires,

Spikes of orange and red and yellow.

The Burning.

Devouring, hungry, pain.

Flame licking its prey,

Caressing and slowly shriveling.

Ashes. Nothing but ashes.

Empty.

Ashes and Fire.

Solemn charcoal dust and towering Powerful hungry,

Flame. . .
