Fire

You gave me warmth

Started a fire in my heart

Brightened my darkest day

But that fire never lasted past May.

And then it all went away

You smothered my ever action

Then burnt me at our every touch.

Covered in ashes I was suppressed

Left with not much.

Then that fire died out

And also what I saw in you.

Now lesson's learned

Never play with fire

Cuz you always end up burned.
