Fire and Ice

Everywhere she went she left her trail of ice behind, but no one would follow it. Her ice consumed her making her very clear and hard to notice. But he noticed her... He was always with her even when miles divided them. They were separated for too long to bear. He tried to keep her safe from his fire, but she wouldn't listen and didn't care. She needed to be with him if only for a little while. So she waited with patience she never knew she had. One day he finally came. She already feels herself melting in front of his fire. It was mainly her heart. She ran and embraced him. They shared their first and final kiss. When they parted she was melted down to her knees and his fire was dying out. "I love you" She muttered. "I love you too" He replied as he gripped her tighter to him. Soon they were both steam blown away by the wind. Some would argue they could have lived on if they had just met someone else. But love has no boundaries to where one will go for the one they love. For she was the ice to his fire.
