fire and ice

he takes all i have

and all he leaves behind

is my regret and sorrow that

has remained for quite some time

i fade to ashes in the wind

when his words singe away my pain

but this fiery passion doesn't cease to subside

as these burns worsen day after day

his cold hearted kiss is the drug that i need

leaving frost on my blackened lips

blizzards of anxiety burry my sense

when his frost bitten hands touch my hips

his arms are prison bars out of which

i couldn't escape if i tried

so i curcome to the weight of my longing for him

the strength in me has died
