The Fire Burning Within My Soul

Dear anonymous boy,

A fire burns passionately within me,

Your loss turned my life into a raging storm,

Winds battle around me,

Fighting for their escape,

Trapped within the confines of expectations,

Supposed to recover.

This fire still burns,

The winds still battling for their freedom,

Freedom from you plaguing my thoughts,

Causing more chaotic winds, a more passionate stirring fire.

Every day,

Waiting for the winds to halt,

The fire to burn out.
