Fire Eyes

The sky burned auburn on the horizon.

Alight by her smile and all she laid eyes on.

Her eyes were a fire, they set the spark.

Lit up my soul in the deepest dark.

When she looked at me, I simply knew…

The fire in her eyes was for me purely true.
