Fire Lily

Bright fire lilies, you influence me to write.

I admire the way you blossom and shine,

Occupying my mind day and through the night,

Constantly dreaming about the smooth vine.

If I compare you to a vibrant prey,

You’re full of character and most majestic.

A gentle breeze blows through a warming May,

The colors of summer bring a cool aesthetic.

Oh how I adore you, I’ll even name the ways.

I love your blazing, soft petals, and aroma.

Thinking of your lively hues fill my days,

Your beauty almost put me in a coma.

So I must leave with a sorrowful heart,

Be aware of my gentle words when we're apart.
