fire in my eyes

I did not search you.

You just happen to find me.

I did not ask to love you.

You did not stop until you found the key to a door that was not open.

Now that you have me in your chains you cannot handle my downfalls.

Did you think it was going to be easy to put the shuddered glass back in its place?

Did you think my trust for you would make me blind?

Did you pull my up out of the water just to shove me back under?

Did you ever stop to think that there is not much left to tear apart?

I bet you thought when you were finished you could just walk away without question.

Not this time, I will make you feel the disappointment.

I will come up this time with fire in my eyes.

So the time you want to tend to a broken soul and realize you cant handle it,

you remember that even the weak have a powerful heart.
