Firefight

It's there in the end A cure you can't afford An answer you won't want To hear You sit there diligently Pondering all your actions Questioning all your reactions Becoming your own worst enemy Hating the fact you can't hide your emotions Like everyone else Pushing others away To only listen to yourself Feeling like a Coward Though loved ones call you a hero The war in your mind Prevents you from moving forward
