Fireflies

She watched with innocent curiosity as the twilight lit up with a million crystals. So long she had waited to see this sight again. The city was beautiful and her wanderlust was cured with every aroma and chaotic bump on the street. But it was lonely, oh so lonely, in that large city where no one knew her name. So she packed her suitcase with the leftover hopes and dreams and drove the scenic route home. And now as she sits on the hood watching the fireflies, she is lonely no more.
