fireside chat

It was two couples out for dinner

enjoyng a night in the cold of winter

conversation lead to to retire

out on a deck with blankets and warm attire

sitting in a u shaped Ashley with a fire of propane

talking of love, life, family and what keeps them sane

the night was dark and temperture dropped

as the evening weny on the conversation stopped

It was that moment that realization came

they raised a glass and toasted the refrain

we are blessed, blessed indeed

love, family and friends is all we need

thank the oh god for what you gave

we hope our belief will lead to all being saved.
