Fireworks

By: Jessica Garcia I have grown so fond of this well-known light. I smile at the gleam, also at the glow. The light is such a beautiful, clear sight. I hurry for they’re gone before you know. Why did I let myself a victim be? I saw this coming but it’s tough to bare. What was once shining is now hard to see. This happens every time it is not fair. Why must this have to happen once again? This seemed all too perfect good and great. The cycle turns all over once again. I cannot question God’s plan for my fate. But in all this mess I’ve dealt with the lies. I’ve never been that good to say goodbyes.
