First Christmas
Special greeting to you with lots of cheer
Those many moments I wish you were here
Lighting the tree with the angle that glows
This was your favorite part and we all know
We loved to see your face light up each night
As a blanket of snow covered our light
Spirtually here but phyically gone
This time of year is harder with each dawn
As The Day approached we know it's true
We will cry as we see the morning dew
The gifts that you will never open up
Including a small handsome little pup
We'll go to your grave site putting flowers with care
In hope that Saint Nicolas has already been there
