The First Cuts the Deepest
Never able to forget,
Offered my heart and soul,
Unable to truly understand,
Ruined the chance.
Zipped by in a flash,
Ultimately to my alarm,
Alone again,
In sickness not health,
Tortured till the end,
Engraved upon my heart and flesh,
Relinquished my soul turns to ash.
