On the first day of

On the first day of Kindergarten, you are just a mere sapling

As time passes by, you develope into a wise tree

Fine lines and rings to show the world you have grown

and having experienced the glistening sun of summer and bitter chills of winter

Losing what makes your soul beautiful

Along the way you have watched the company you once kept, go

Whether it be the Cardinal that once sought out shellter and comfort from you or

the vibrant Tullips that once surrounded you

On the First day of Senior year, you are on your own

The Tullips and Cardinal never returned.

The first day of Senior year was like another chill of a long winter day.
Lonely and cold
