First Day to the Last

Looking around I see

something that appears new to me.

Abandonned and alone in an empty hall,

with no one to hear my call.

The first day at a new place,

but no one recogizes my face.

"Highschool" they call it,

i never thought it would be "lit".

I realize I miss something,

the tune of a different bell ring.

Teachers would follow and help your every need,

but now I have to help myself when I bleed.

I miss being cared for and loved,

but i only feel when i am shoved.

"Growing up" only feels like falling down

i wish i was little again wearing my princess crown.

But comes along a new light.

That will help me with my flight.

Courage and Independence from the rest.

Will help me become the best.

From the first day to the last has helped me grow.

And now, Everyone Can See ME Glow.
