The first hand to touch
The first hand to touch me
To hug me to kiss my hand
Is the same first hand to drug me, beat me, and
To send me away forever
Never to see again
My God my God
Why have you let my Earthly father forsaken me
For the sake of your great plan for me
But Thy Will Be Done
I am confussed by the abuse
I keep streching out to reach it hand
Daddy are you there?
I hear a yes BUT
It's more like a breath of fresh air
It doesn't sound painful or harsh
It's not scary or dark
That can't be my daddy there
He's not pulling my hair saying you and you dare
It's not sharp it sounds more like a harp
If thats not my daddy there
Who is the one to care
I hear I love you
I want you
Reach for my hand it's no dare
I actually really do care
The only tear is in my wrist
Don't worry that is not for you
That is for your plan from me
Just wait and see
Be stiil and know my will
Don't run
Don't hide
I am always by your side
I don't lie
I am your daddy here there and everywhere
