First Kiss
It was as if I was in heaven.
I was and still am willing to bet
That our love will always burn like bavin.
I was lucky to have someone so caring and
Loving. There you were standing before me,
Pulling me in for a kiss.
What could it be that I see
In your eyes?
It looks like joy and excitement
But hidden under that is hurt and loneliness.
The look you’re starting to give me is one of enticement.
I plan to tell you that I will never leave,
I will never hurt you.
It seems that halfway through I begin to
Achieve what I am trying to exude.
I hope that every time we do this you can tell
That I, baby, will always love you.
