A First Kiss


On either ends -- catatonic Caught between rigidity and softness This moment -- I admonish, your mind and heart astonish. Unbeleivably I lie, "No I am not nervous". Yet, my body will not comply I cannot idly stand-by The pressure is astounding. Tension -- pulling back and forth residual passion remains while your breaths surrounding Silently I plea. The words never escape my throat kiss. me. At this moment, I'm feeling gutsy.
