First Love

First Love

Her alluring red lips

drew me from a distance

somehow in the dark shadows

such radiance broke all resistance

began to slowly melt

those frozen hidden recesses

Intoxicating fragrance

draped now in her arms

the warmth of her soul

contaminated every fabric

Now a beaten foe

fell to the spell

Melody wafts through the air

songs of the heart are composed.

The eternal joy of my first love

celebration no longer contained

sheer exuberent of being at home
