First One For Fun

oh the poems that I've written

filled a book and then filled more

they're scattered on my table

some even on the floor

in folders, files and boxes

on shelves and in the closet

they're waiting to be organized

they're waiting for deposit

who knows where they might end up

where they'll all go from here

I just know there are stacks enough

to create a full career!
