The First Rain


The first rain Is the best rain So soft, so sweet But not yet sane It comes it goes But before you know It’s back again For another show You see it now Above the clouds The thunder rolls To earth so loud Throughout the night Here comes a fight Thunder will clash Lightning so bright Then morning will come A new day for some No sign of the rain But a quiet hum
