The First Rain
The first rain
Is the best rain
So soft, so sweet
But not yet sane
It comes it goes
But before you know
It’s back again
For another show
You see it now
Above the clouds
The thunder rolls
To earth so loud
Throughout the night
Here comes a fight
Thunder will clash
Lightning so bright
Then morning will come
A new day for some
No sign of the rain
But a quiet hum
