First Shot

Walk into a strange place

Find it filled with strange people

Yet I find myself at their pace

Like I knew the prequel

I was following the crowd

Or was I leading my own

Should I be proud

Or was I just a clone

I came here for money

left here with confusion

But my day feels evermore sunny

hopefully not just an allusion
