First Star of the Night

I look up at the sky

The day of light

Slowly fading

A billion shades of black

Slowly drifing across

One single star

Poking out its head

Saying hello

Welcome to the night

But you aren't alone

You'll be alright.

And its friends come out too

Reminding us that there's

More lights in the night

Than there is during the day.
