First World Problems
They gave me 2% milk
Instead of skim
I can't drink this crap!
There's no wifi
In this place
I can't even because of that
They ran out of my size
In the Sperrys I wanted
I can't believe that
Guy over there
Didn't pick up his dog's poop!
My pool liner is wrinkled
My car has got a scratch
My iphone 3 is SO last year
My silverware's mismatched.
My baby has malaria
I have no shoes on my feet
Could I please go through your garbage
so I'll have something to eat?
I hope the rats won't bite me
If I sleep out on the floor
If the soldiers come
We'd better run-
They'll just break down the door.
We must sound so ridiculous
With our preposterous laments
Our righteous anger at tiny slights,
And improper condiments.
Humility and gratitude
May have gone out of style
But we can change our attitudes
and perhaps after a while
We'll remember not to
Blow our top
If there's no nutra-sweet
And just feel very lucky that
We have something to eat.
