Fish in the Sea

Ever selfish gulls are rising in arcs,
Knowing the waves and more
In their squabble.

Watching waves isn't watching water.

They fight like the gulls.

Restless and cooking,
They're one, long groan.

We drown ourselves in it.
Like blind fish in the deep
We pay tax to the sea.
