Fish without a Bicycle

Surely, I do not need you, your fallacy and games. Messages now lost in context have but one to blame. Searching for a sign, finding nothing in the skies, Solid ground beneath me proves Him nothing more than lies. So here I lay, perhaps to stay, and gaze into the stars, Oblivious to pain, my thoughts inflict internal scars Deep within the darkest depths of sections of my head Instilled much like the treachery now believed as dead. But not quite dead, because instead, it ceases to exist. Although a tool, many a fool, have plundered the abyss. A man up in the sky? Couldn’t be, but if so, why? Call me crazy, but I find that comfort lies within. A search most certainly can’t bring solutions without sin. In one score, subtract but four, I wait here day by day. Don’t pray for me, I’ll pray for you because the price you pay. All those years of cries and fears, spent praying and in vein When simply one must realize that life is its own gain. When I leave and if I get to where I am to go, Does my coffin set me free? Do I fall below? Considering anatomy lacks where to find the soul, A place for it to spend forever after is, well, null. Once, many men I witnessed fall before their faith. Stand now in my world, that of reality, not wraith.
